The Stranger Things actor released his debut solo album ‘Happy Birthday‘ in June, following his work fronting the band Calpurnia and The Aubreys.
Along with the nostalgic, jangly lead single ‘Choose The Latter’, Wolfhard also released the wistful indie rock track ‘Trailers After Dark‘ in the lead-up to the album.
Now, Wolfhard will be embarking on the ‘Objection!’ around the UK and Europe. Kicking off in Paris’ Maroquinerie on October 4, he will travel through Berlin, Manchester, Dublin and more, before playing a final show at London’s Electric Brixton (16).

We spoke to the actor earlier this year, where he told us about the inspiration his Stranger Things co-stars had on his music.
Joe Keery (who plays Steve Harrington) now records music under the stage name Djo, and recently released his third album ‘The Crux’, while Maya Hawke (who plays Robin Buckley) released her third album ‘Chaos Angel’ in 2024.
“[Keery] was a gigantic inspiration to me and another mentor,” Wolfhard told NME. “While filming, Joe and Maya were part of a fun group chat challenge where they would both write and submit a song every week. And I still text Joe to ask him what he thinks about song ideas. I’m hoping we can make music together – even if I wasn’t credited.”
Since then, Wolfhard joined Keery on stage in Toronto to perform ‘Flash Mountain’ from Djo’s debut album ‘Twenty Twenty’.
Elsewhere, the ‘Stranger Things: Tales From ’85’ spin-off is coming to Netflix.
