FKA Twigs shares Simlish version of ‘Eusexua’s ‘Perfect Stranger’

FKA Twigs has teamed up with The Sims to release a Simlish version of ‘Eusexua’ single ‘Perfect Stranger’ – check it out below.

FKA Twigs released her first full-length album in five years back in January. According to a press release, Eusexua is “a state of being.

“A feeling of momentary transcendence often evoked by art, music, sex, and unity. Eusexua can be followed by a state of bliss and feelings of limitless possibility. Also used to refer to: ‘The pinnacle of Human Experience’.”

Now one of those tracks has been given a Simlish reworking. “Did someone turn on the heat? We’re continuing to ‘Sim Your Summer’ with tales of kismet connection,” reads the announcement from EA.

“That’s right, Simmers, the ‘Eusexua’ hit just got Simified.” EA has also shared a FKA Twigs Sim that can be downloaded via the gallery here.

EA recently launched the new ‘Enchanted By Nature’ expansion pack for The Sims 4 which gives players access to a fairy-inhabited wonderland alongside new build-a-character options. “FKA Twigs developed a whimsical soundscape to match the enchanting world of Innisgreen and the adventures your Sims will experience there. Oh, right! We forgot to mention, it’s performed entirely in Simlish,” continues the announcement.

An accompanying music video for the Simlish version of ‘Perfect Stranger’ sees Twigs’  “fluttering around as her fairy Sims self playing the role of town matchmaker. She’ll help bring together five couples during her escapades, some likely, some unlikely. Who knows, you may even see Mother Nature and Spruce Almighty rekindle their match-made-in-dirt for a brief moment.”

The original music video for ‘Perfect Stranger’ featured cameos from Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Yves Tumor.

In a five-star review of ‘Eusexua’, NME wrote: “Twigs has successfully shown that the connection of music, movement, mind, soul and body can be converted into sound, weaving these elements into a cohesive and transcendent artistic experience. She brings her own assured sense of creativity and spirituality and combines it with her ability to materialise the intangible. As the album’s closing track says, “You’ve one life to live, do it freely”. What better note to leave it on?”

Recently, EA confirmed there are still no plans for The Sims 5, saying it wouldn’t be “player-friendly” to force their user base to move to a new game after investing more than ten years into The Sims 4. However the studio is working on a multiplayer spin-off and a movie adaptation.
