Former 'Harry Potter' Star Warwick Davis Weighs in on J.K. Rowling Controversy
Warwick Davis, the Hollywood legend who starred in franchises like Leprechaun and Star Wars, was also a huge part of the Harry Potter film series. The actor was responsible for playing Professor Filius Flitwick and the iconic goblin Griphook, two notable entries in the vast library of films he has made. As the franchise changes its format, and HBO cooks up a TV version of the Harry Potter stories, the excitement has been tempered by another issue. That is, of course, original author J.K. Rowling's polarizing standpoint on gender issues, something she has been very vocal about. Davis was asked if he was aware of this widespread controversy, but he kindly responded that he's "out of touch," and doesn't "read the news."
