'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' Is the Best Anime Ever Streaming on Netflix
Back in 2009, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood changed anime forever. This second adaptation of Edward and Alphonse Elric became a faithful retelling of the manga and was hailed by fans and critics as one of the genre’s best. Long-running sites like MyAnimeList and AnimeNewsNetwork even had this version of FMA at the top of their rankings for almost a decade. Just like any other giant, though, there would come a time when Brotherhood would be taken out of that number one spot of the best anime ever released. The very unusual yet emotional anime that did this was only released less than two years ago, and all of Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
