Gareth Edwards Does Not Believe 'Rogue One' is the Best 'Star Wars' Movie
For many Star Wars fans, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the best movie of the entire sci-fi franchise. However, that is an opinion that director Gareth Edwards doesn’t quite agree with, even if he does appreciate the sentiment. Rogue One is a movie that tells a self-contained story while being part of the wider Star Wars timeline, and it was one of the first movies to strip away many of the fantastic elements and deliver a strong, character-driven tale. For Edwards, though, it is not the best Star Wars has to offer.
