Halfway Through Its First Season, 'Murderbot' Still Has a Major Problem
Apple TV+'s new series Murderbothas come out of the gate with a strong start in its freshman season, garnering largely positive reviews and some solid internet buzz. Its droll, comedic take on sci-fi, exemplified by Alexander Skarsgård's weary narration, has helped it stand out in a crowded streaming landscape. But while the show is undeniably entertaining and often quite funny, with half of its first season in the bag, it feels like something pretty major is still missing.
