'General Hospital' & 'Days of Our Lives' Star Denise Alexander Dies
Denise Alexander, best known for portraying Dr. Lesley Webber in General Hospitaland Susan Hunter Martin in Days of Our Lives, dies aged 85. The beloved soap opera veteran died on March 5, but according to Variety, it has only now been revealed by GH showrunner Frank Valentini in a social media post. In the post, Valentini praised Alexander for her iconic performance on the show and for being one of the first woman doctors on daytime television. Denise starred in General Hospitalfrom 1973 to 1984, with on-and-off appearances throughout the next few decades. Valentini wrote:
