Harvey Keitel Was in Ridley Scott, Martin Scorsese & Quentin Tarantino's First Movies
Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott, and Quentin Tarantino have a lot in common. Besides the fact that they're some of the most-recognized directors, they all got their start by directing Harvey Keitel. Although their first films had varying degrees of success, each director knew exactly how to utilize Keitel's knack for acting and directed him again in a later film, often with even better results. Although the later parts of his career allowed Keitel to star in the National Treasure series and three of Wes Anderson's films, his early roles in Who's That Knocking at My Door, The Duellists, and Reservoir Dogs may have been more impactful for film history.
