'Highlander' Reboot Starring Henry Cavill Picked up by Amazon
It's been a long time coming, but Henry Cavill and Chad Stahelski’s Highlander reboot just took a major step forward. The remake of the iconic fantasy action franchise has been in the works since 2008 (though not with Cavill and Stahelski), and while the former Superman and John Wick creator’s reimagining was initially set up at Lionsgate, it has now been revealed that Amazon MGM Studios’ United Artists has stepped in to secure the rights to the highly anticipated action epic.
