Jensen Ackles Would Make the Perfect Batman for James Gunn's DCU
Although he is most well-known for playing the oldest of the monster-hunting Winchester brothers on the CW's Supernatural, Jensen Ackles is an incredibly talented actor whose career spans nearly 30 years. He has come a long way from his soap opera days on Days of Our Lives, and most recently can be seen leading Prime Video's original crime series, Countdown. Ackles plays LAPD detective Mark Meachum, a reckless undercover cop who is pulled into an elite task force to uncover the dangerous conspiracy behind a fellow law enforcement officer's murder. Ackles is no stranger to roles that require intense fight and action scenes, but he also excels in the more dramatic story beats as well.
