Karate Kid: Legends is looking to be a hit at the box office for Sony Pictures, though it won't be able to take the number one spot. The latest film in the popular Karate Kid franchise combines the two previous film series into one connected story with stars Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan. Opening just three months after Cobra Kai concluded its six-season run on Netflix, Karate Kid: Legends is looking to cash in on the series' goodwill.
