When it comes to great slasher horror movies from the 1980s, there's a few obvious ones that immediately come to mind. Friday the 13th, the Halloween sequels, Child's Play, and A Nightmare on Elm Street are all classics today, but in 1985 a rare gem came along to break free of the grasp that Freddy, Jason, Michael, and Chucky had on the decade to carve out its own path to cult-classic status.
