Netflix Canceled 'The Society' Too Soon
Netflix canceling subscribers' favorite series is a tale as old as time, it seems. Yet, the streaming platform continues to shock everyone by ending widely loved series after one season and simply never bringing them back. Whether it is the coming-of-age comedy I Am Not Okay With This, the neo-Western drama Territory, or the musical comedy Julie and the Phantoms, Netflix doesn't prefer a specific genre when it comes to dropping a show. It would be understandable to discontinue a new series if it fell short of Netflix's expectations, but half a decade ago, Netflix canceled one of the most intriguing teen drama series for an unnecessary reason and still hasn't brought it back.
