New 'Superman' Image Featuring David Corenswet Has DC Fans More Excited Than Ever
Fans have gotten a new image of David Corenswet as Superman, one that many think should have been the film's first official look at the hero. In May 2024, James Gunn released the first look at Corenswet as Superman for the upcoming DCU reboot. The image, depicting the Man of Steel sitting in a chair seemingly putting on his boots with a giant alien spacecraft in the background, received a mixed response from fans. This was due to the image seemingly showing Superman not jumping into action, and also feeling like a muted first look at the costume.
