Paul Weller, Primal Scream, Inhaler and more have been announced for a new ‘Gig For Gaza’ live event in London. Check out the details below.

The event, described as a “special night of music and solidarity”, will take place on Friday October 17 at the historic TROXY venue in London. It comes in a bid to raise funds for those affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

It has been curated by singer, songwriter, guitarist and former frontman of The Jam, Paul Weller, and follows on from the 2024 ‘Gig For Gaza’ event at Brixton Academy. That show saw performances from Kneecap, Primal Scream, Paloma Faith, Liam Bailey and more, and raised over £125,000 for aid efforts.

For the upcoming event, Primal Scream are returning to the line-up, and Weller is set to perform too. Joining them on the bill is the Dublin indie rock band Inhaler, and Irish singer, songwriter, and rapper Maverick Sabre.

All funds raised from the show will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and Gaza Forever. Both are organisations that works to provide on-the-ground support to people in Gaza. Their work includes delivering food parcels, emergency shelter, and medical supplies to civilians. They are also working to develop local capacity to ensure the long-term development of the healthcare system in Palestine.

As well as live music performances, the show at TROXY will also include guest speakers and short films. Like seen in previous ‘Gig For Gaza’ shows, the artwork for the event has been designed by Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja.

Tickets go on sale on Friday (August 1) at 10am. Visit here for tickets and more information.

For Weller, the upcoming appearance at the ‘Gig For Gaza’ show continues his long-running efforts to raise awareness and support for those in Palestine. Over the weekend, he joined Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie and The Clash’s Paul Simonon at a DJ event in London, where profits were shared with non-profit organisations working in Gaza.

Before then, he was at the aforementioned ‘Gig For Gaza’ show in Brixton, and then he was seen as part of the huge crowd that gathered as Kneecap’s Mo Chara made his appearance in court in Westminster, charged with a terrorism offence for his comments relating to Palestine. The rapper appeared in court just days before their Glastonbury 2025 performance and was given unconditional bail.

Weller also expressed his support for Palestine previously by saying that he was “against genocides and ethnic cleansing” and performing with a Palestinian flag draped over his guitar amp.

For Primal Scream, the band have also raised money for the people of Gaza before, collaborating on a shirt design for a Palestinian refugee football team, and joining Weller (and dozens of other artists) in signing a letter from Heavenly Recordings, supporting the right to freedom of expression for musicians and artists. This came following the backlash to Kneecap speaking out for the people of Palestine and pressures to have them dropped from festival line-ups.
