Porridge Radio have announced their final UK shows – see below for all ticket details.

The Brighton indie rock band announced their split last January when they shared their new single ‘Don’t Want To Dance’. They also detailed their farewell EP, ‘Machine Starts To Sing’ – which dropped last February.

Now, on top of their EU and US dates, Porridge Radio have shared news of their final UK tour dates. Before they commence their official goodbye, they’ll make an appearance at Norwich’s Bearded Theory Festival (May 25) and London’s Rally Festival (August 23).

The band will then kick off the final string of shows at Bristol’s Trinity Church on December 2, stopping by Manchester’s Gorilla (4) and Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club (5). They’ll finish up with a show in Glasgow at St. Luke’s on December 7.

Tickets are already on sale today – you can get any remaining tickets at their website here.

When Porridge Radio announced their split, the band tweeted that the songs on ‘Machine Starts To Sing’ “are an important part of ‘Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me’, and mean as much to us as the 11 songs on the album. We are excited for you to hear them.

“This band has been our life, we’re family now. These tours will be our last, thanks so much for listening. With love, Dana, Georgie, Sam and Dan.”

For their last album ‘Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me’, NME gave it a five-star review, writing: “Closing with the stomping, almost euphoric ‘Sick Of The Blues’ does offer that final blowout. It’s a deliberate leap towards feeling OK and also a bow tied around a record that is surprising, affecting and invigorating in its honesty.”
