'Push' Review: Alicia Sanz's Gutsy Performance Drives Shudder Stalker Thriller
A pregnant realtor is stalked by a merciless killer at a remote open house in Push, the latest film from horror directing duo David Charbonier and Justin Powell. Fans of the directors' previous films The Djinn and The Boy Behind the Door will be pleased with the moody cinematography, sharp camera work and decent jump scares. But it's a gutsy lead performance from Alicia Sanz that keeps the film compelling when the narrative dramatically falters and a puzzling change of scenery pops the established tension like a balloon.
