'Resident Evil' Reboot Gets Update From Zach Cregger That Could Divide Fans
Barbarian director Zach Creggeris keeping his hands busy with his next project, the star-studded mystery horror film Weapons, which is set for release on August 8, 2025. Hopefully, it will go well for the young filmmaker, who has already become a different voice in the horror landscape. However, Weapons isn't the only project he's working on. The writer/director has also been commissioned to develop a new big-screen adaptation of the major video game franchise Resident Evil. Details remain under wraps, but Cregger has teased the essence of his vision for the classic franchise. Resident Evilfans, you're probably not going to like this.
