Rosé on BLACKPINK’s return: “We’re coming back to each other with good energy”

Rosé has spoken about BLACKPINK’s upcoming return – see what the K-pop star had to say below.
The group will be returning this July after over a year away, as they embark upon their new ‘DEADLINE’ world tour. Ahead of their comeback, Rosé touched upon all four members reconvening in a new cover story for Dazed.
While she did not share much about their plans beyond the tour, Rosé said: “Each of us has gone out and been inspired and learned so much about ourselves, and now we’re coming back to each other with good energy.”
As for why she wasn’t able to reveal more, she had this to say: “I don’t think I should be the spokesperson as one quarter of the group.”
Beginning in July, they’ll kick off their world tour with shows in South Korea, the United States, Europe and the UK – which includes two massive dates at Wembley Stadium in London in August.
After that, they’ll return to Asia for their newly announced dates, which includes stops in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan and more.
The forthcoming stadium shows from BLACKPINK will mark their first headline tour since their record-breaking ‘Born Pink World Tour’, which ran between 2022 and 2023. Those shows also saw the group reach new heights as it was soon certified as the highest-grossing tour by a girl group – drawing over 1.8million fans.
Since the group last hit the stage, all four members have been busy with other projects. Rosé, for example, teamed up with Bruno Mars’ for the hit song ‘APT.’, which has surpassed a billion streams on Spotify, making it the fastest song by a K-pop artist to do so. She dropped her solo album ‘rosie’ on December 6, alongside an accompanying music video for the single ‘toxic till the end’.
Lisa and Jennie have also released full-length solo projects, while Jisoo released her debut solo EP, ‘Amortage’. Jennie’s album ‘Ruby’ scored a four-star review, with Crystal Bell writing for NME: “She asserts herself not just as a global star, but as a fully realised artist, shaping her sound and vision with an intentionality that signals real growth.”
Lisa’s album ‘Alter Ego’ scored three stars, with Bell writing: “‘Alter Ego’ may not fully answer the question of who Lisa is as a solo artist, but it’s an ambitious first step toward finding out. The album is eclectic, unapologetic and, at times, a little lost in its own spectacle. If ‘Alter Ego’ is about trying on different personas, perhaps the real Lisa is still emerging. And when she finds her footing, she’ll be unstoppable.”
Jisoo’s EP got a four-star review as well: “It’s not a reinvention, nor does it need to be. Instead, ‘Amortage’ plays to Jisoo’s strengths, proving that evolution doesn’t always have to be explosive to shake things up.”
Rosé’s album ‘Rosie’ also scored four-stars: “‘Rosie’ offers a rare and intimate invitation to understand Rosé as more than just a star — to see Rosie, the woman, searching for validation, love, and meaning.”
