'Superman' Dominates 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' With First-Day Ticket Sales
The unofficial rivalry between the DCU's Superman and the MCU's Fantastic Four: First Steps is heating up as both films inch closer to their respective release dates. Superman flies into theaters on July 11, with Fantastic Four: First Steps following two weeks later on July 25. While it seems like only the internet cares about the rivalry, as Superman director James Gunn says he hopes First Steps will be a success for Marvel Studios, his own movie just gained a massive advantage over Marvel's big summer blockbuster.
