Superman was never going to hit the box office with a small thud, but projections for James Gunn’s DCU live-action debut are set to fire up the summer with a potential record-breaking debut for the DC franchise. The summer is littered with some big franchise movies, including Jurassic World Rebirth on July 2, and Fantastic Four: First Steps on July 25, and right in the middle on July 11 is Superman.
