'The Exorcist' Was So Cursed It Had a Real-Life Murderer on the Cast
The Exorcist, directed by William Friedkin, is notoriously considered a cursed film. Multiple cast and crew members sustained injuries during production, including Linda Blair, who fractured her lower spine while strapped to the bed. There were also several deaths among the cast, crew, and their families. Jack MacGowran, who played Burke Dennings, died shortly after finishing his scenes.
