'The Fantastic Four: First Step' MCU Tie-In Merch Is a Real Stretch
Marvel Studios has seemingly spared no expense in marketing and promoting its upcoming film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. It's been a little over ten years since the last Fantastic Four film was released in theaters, and Josh Trank's iteration of the team was poorly received, both critically and financially. The film was plagued by behind-the-scenes turmoil, along with rumors of heavy studio interference and poor on-set behavior by Trank. So, it only makes sense that the long-awaited integration of the team into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) would be taken seriously and given as much fanfare as this film has.
