The Fate of HBO's 'The Penguin' Is Up to 'The Batman Part II'
It's been nearly a year since The Penguin debuted, and while fans have been holding out hope for Season 2, it appears that if it does happen, it likely won't be until after The Batman - Part II. Picking up in the immediate aftermath of The Batman, The Penguin showed the rise of Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin (Colin Farrell), and how he goes from a criminal enforcer to the Gentlemen of Crime and a ruling figure in Gotham's criminal underworld. The series acts as a bridge between The Batman and its upcoming sequel, The Batman - Part II, set to arrive five years after the first film and three years after The Penguin.
