'The Legend of Zelda' Live-Action Casting Is a Huge Missed Opportunity
This week, Nintendo and Sony announced the lead actors for their upcoming live-action Legend of Zelda movie. Bo Bragason from the Disney+ series Renegade Nell will be playing Zelda, and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth from The Haunting of Bly Manor will be playing Link. The casting news marks exciting progress for the film, which doesn't release until May 2027, but it's also disappointing for many fans, who expected Hunter Schafer to get cast as Zelda.
