Tom Cruise Among Several Stars Receiving an Honorary Oscar
Tom Cruise, the Hollywood icon and actor known for the action franchises Mission: Impossible and Top Gun, is finally all set to receive his first Oscar. However, it won't be for his performances on-screen but rather off it, as the recognition will be in the form of an honorary Oscar that the Eyes Wide Shut star will receive along with other Hollywood figures like Debbie Allen, Dolly Parton and Wynn Thomas. Cruise will lift the highly-deserved statuette on November 16 at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Ovation Hollywood, when the 16th annual Governors Awards take place.
