Zoe Saldaña Addresses James Gunn's DC Superhero Role Comments
It's hard to imagine creating a new superhero universe for DC Comics and not including any of the many, many, many, many actors who've already played in the Marvel sandbox. But that's exactly what James Gunn is trying to do. After all, neither David Corenswet nor Rachel Brosnahanhad been in a superhero movie until the upcoming Superman. That doesn't mean, of course, that there won't be exceptions to that rule, with people like Nicholas Hoult (who played Beast in several X-Men movies), his brother Sean Gunn (whom he casts in everything), or — if he has his way — his leading lady from Guardians of the Galaxy, Zoe Saldaña.
