'28 Weeks Later' Is Heading to New Streaming Home Ahead of '28 Years Later'
After the original 28 Days Later was released, the zombie genre was reinvigorated with a second life. Danny Boyle and Alex Garland's (at the time) fresh and exciting take on the films would inspire a sequel. Unfortunately, the director and writing duo wouldn't return for the initial sequel, with a new creative team making 28 Weeks Later. Released in 2007, the movie would follow a larger story about the fall of the British Isles and American intervention, eventually leading to another outbreak. The movie will soon be available on a new streaming service to check out before the upcoming 28 Years Later.
