Alan Ritchson Got This 'Reacher' Villain Cast in a Pretty Strange Way
Season 3 of Reacher found the titular character facing off against a much bigger, stronger, and meaner villain than ever before. When Reacher heads to Maine to track down a nemesis from his past, he encounters Paul "Paulie" Van Hoven, an enforcer and bodyguard for the mysterious Beck family. Paulie was played byOlivier Richters,known to his fans as "The Dutch Giant." At 6'2", Alan Ritchson — AKA Reacher — is not a small guy, by any means, but when standing next to 7'2" Richters, he looks positively tiny.
