Alien vs. Predator: Which Has the Better Sci-Fi Franchise?
Since 1989, with the first publication of Dark Horse Comics' Alien vs. Predator, the two sci-fi franchises have been forever linked. The Xenomorphs of the Alien series and the Yautja of the Predator franchise are two of the biggest names in sci-fi horror that even crossed over on the big screen twice in Alien vs. Predator and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. After what seemed like a low point for both series in the mid-2010s with Alien: Covenant and The Predator, these two horror icons were looking tired and out of date. Yet in 2020, both franchises have been given a new lease on life thanks to films like Prey and Alien: Romulus.
