Are we living in an episode of Star Wars? With the recent discussion of tariffs and emergency powers (not enacted by Jar Jar Binks, fortunately), many people have drawn the comparison. But that particular episode (Episode One: The Phantom Menace) isn't the one that feels so eerily relevant right now. It's something much more explosive and, to paraphrase Tony Gilroy, painfully timeless.
