'Anemone': New Look at Daniel Day-Lewis in First Role in Eight Years

Focus Features has shared an image from Ronan Day-Lewis' feature directorial debut Anemone, starring Daniel Day-Lewis in his first role since retiring from acting eight years ago. The three-time Academy Award-winning actor co-wrote the film with his son, the director, who brought his father back to the screen following a lengthy hiatus after 2017's Phantom Thread. The two teaming up for the project is quite apt as the movie is described as a family drama that explores "the complex and profound ties that exist between brothers, fathers, and sons."
