Are September Movies Doomed at the Box Office?

As the summer movie season begins to cool, there is a lot to look back on fondly. Kids found themselves well-entertained with the billion-dollar-grossing Lilo & Stitch remake. It has been proven that people still love dinosaurs, as evidenced by Jurassic Park Rebirth's worldwide gross of $846 million and counting. The two major superhero films of July performed well without cannibalizing each other (Superman, $605.8 million, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, $491 million).
