'Black Panther's Angela Bassett Wants to Return for Ryan Coogler's Third Movie, Despite Her Character Being Dead

As well as breaking records at the box office, making actors get into ridiculous physical shape for roles, and having underwhelming villains, the MCU is also renowned for casting phenomenal, Oscar-caliber actors and wasting them. Angela Bassett is one such example of this. The 2x Oscar nominee played Ramonda, the mother of T'Challa (the late Chadwick Boseman), in Black Panther and its sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Bassett gave phenomenal performances in both, with some even calling for her performance in the sequel to be nominated for an Oscar. But, in true MCU fashion, she was unceremoniously killed off, culling any chances of the fan-favorite character stealing more scenes in future entries. But Bassett still hopes to return to the MCU... somehow.
