Blossoms, Fontaines D.C. and more have teamed up with Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) to launch a new Lifelines music merch line – find out more below.

Today (June 25) marks the launch of CALM’s Lifelines merch line, which sees the suicide prevention charity organisation teaming up with musicians to produce a line of t-shirts featuring lyrics provided by participating bands and musicians in an effort to raise funds for its lifesaving work.

The Lifelines merch line will include a series of artist-centric t-shirts, kicking off with a Blossoms partnership today ahead of their sold-out fundraising gig with Inhaler for CALM on Thursday (June 26). The Blossoms t-shirt features they lyric “Let’s spend this life as one” from their hit ‘The Keeper’. All profits from the t-shirts will be donated to CALM to fund its operations.

Other upcoming artist-centric t-shirts in the Lifelines collection include Fontaines D.C., Inhaler and CALM ambassador Tom Walker – release dates for their t-shirts will be revealed at a later time.

The Fontaines D.C. shirt will include the lyric “It’s amazing to be young“, taken from their recent song of the same name, while Inhaler’s t-shirt will include “It won’t always be like this / When it breaks, I know you’re gonna be there” from ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’ and ‘When It Breaks’.

Tom Walker’s ‘Lifeline’ inspired CALM’s music merch line, and as such will include lyrics from the same song: “I wish you knew you had a lifeline“. More artists providing lyrics to the Lifelines merch line will be revealed at a later date.

Per a press release, CALM has revealed that nearly 7,000 people aged between 15 and 24 years old across the UK have lost their lives to suicide over the last decade, while 39 per cent of people aged between 18 and 24 have experienced suicidal thoughts or mental health crisis within the last five years.

CALM CEO Simon Gunning said in a statement: “Music is part of the DNA of CALM – right from the time Tony Wilson helped us launch, and music is a powerful tool in our fight against suicide. One word, one message, one line of a song that means so much to you, can make a world of difference. We couldn’t be more grateful to all the artists involved in ‘Lifelines’, for using their platforms in this way, showing just what a juggernaut of a power for good music can be.”
