Blumhouse's Wolf Man is Finding Redemption on the Streaming Charts
Unfortunately, Leigh Whannell's film Wolf Mankicked off 2025 not with a howl, but a whimper. After reimagining one Universal Monster icon with 2020's The Invisible Man, the Saw writer took on another ambitious reboot with Wolf Man. The film experienced several delays and cast changes, with Ryan Gosling initially attached to star in the titular role before being replaced by Christopher Abbott. Eventually, Whannell's film saw the light of day, although its short theatrical run was considered a box office flop. Despite its financial struggles in theaters, the movie is now finding a second life on streaming platforms.
