Box Office Round-Up: 'Lilo & Stitch' Wrecks 'Ballerina's Debut to Hold #1 Chart Position for Third Week
From the World of John Wick: Ballerinadanced onto the box office scene and completely mesmerized fans who came out to witness Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) and the Baba Yaga’s (Keanu Reeves) big-screen confrontation. Unfortunately, despite the sublime reception from audiences, there simply wasn’t enough interest in the action flick to generate the money Ballerina needed to land the top spot over the weekend. Instead, it was Lilo & Stitch that ascended to No. 1 and for the third weekend in a row with an estimated $32.5 million.
