Box Office Round-Up: 'Sinners' Wins Weekend as 'Revenge of the Sith' Beats 'The Accountant 2'
Summer movie season is less than a week away, but Michael B. Jordan and writer/director Ryan Coogler’s Sinnersmade sure April was remembered as the month went out in style. The must-see vampire film not only repeated as the No. 1 movie at the box office, but it held incredibly well between its first and second weekends of release en route to making an estimated $45 million domestically, which is almost as much money ($48 million) as the movie made during its debut.
