However, Cate Blanchett, star of The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-2003), wants to leave the glitz and glam life behind. The legendary actress is seriously considering stepping out of the spotlight, simply because she wants to see what else life has to offer. While she isn't the only actor/actress to share these thoughts, and most likely won't be the last, Blanchett has accomplished what many, unfortunately, will never in a lifetime. She has won two Academy Awards, four BAFTA Awards, and four Golden Globes, among many other notable accolades.
