Charli XCX appears in the new trailer for ‘100 Nights Of Hero’

The teaser trailer for 100 Nights Of Hero has arrived online, featuring Charli XCX alongside an ensemble cast.
Based on the graphic novel by Isabel Greenberg, which in turn was inspired by the Middle Eastern folktales One Thousand and One Nights, the film features a star-studded cast that includes Emma Corrin, Nicholas Galitzine and Maika Monroe.
The official synopsis reads: “When a charming house guest (Galitzine) arrives at a remote castle, the delicate dynamic between a neglectful husband, his innocent bride Cherry (Monroe), and their devoted maid Hero (Corrin), is thrown into chaos.”
The ‘Brat’ singer is shown in a montage of cast members, with her character, Rosa, playing a lute. You can watch the trailer above.
The film will have its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival on September 6, followed by a US cinema release on December 5. A UK release date is yet to be announced.
The historical fantasy is one of a number of acting projects the artist has in the works, having already played a comedic version of herself in the Prime Video series Overcompensating earlier this year. She is soon to star in Erupcja, a drama she also co-wrote, as well as the adventure-comedy Sacrifice alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Evans.
An avid film fan, Charli XCX has made regular recommendations via TikTok as well as pitching an It Girl edition of the Final Destination franchise. She also recently shared a scene from her upcoming mockumentary film The Moment.
Amid a busy work schedule, which also saw her headline Glastonbury’s Other Stage in June, she also got married to her partner, The 1975’s George Daniel, in a ceremony in London last month. The couple shared photos from their day on Instagram, with the caption: “did something”.
Elsewhere, Talking Heads legend David Byrne recently praised Charli XCX’s “brave” and “economical” stage show.
