Check out the stage times for The Libertines’ London Gunnersbury Park gig with Supergrass, Soft Play and more

The Libertines have shared the stage times for their huge Gunnersbury Park show next weekend – check them out below.

The band announced the concert at the end of last year and it will go down at the London site on Saturday (August 9) as part of the park’s 2025 summer series.

Real Farmer, who are signed to Pete Doherty’s record label Strap Originals, will open the show at 2pm, followed by Brighton punk band Lambrini Girls at 2.55pm. After that, Hak Baker will take the stage at 4pm, before Soft Play at 5.10pm.

Britpop veterans Supergrass then take second billing at 6,40pm before The Libertines kick off their headline set at 8.20pm. Find any remaining tickets for the show here.

In a press release to announce the show, The Libertines said: “The old white mansion in Gunnersbury Park is in one of our favourite films, The Lavender Hill Mob, so we thought we’d bring the Eastern Esplanade mob and some spiky guitars to that Arcadian glade in West London for a good ol’ homecoming knees up.”

Supergrass frontman Danny Goffey said: “We are so pleased to be involved in the Gunnersbury Park gig with The Libertines and all the other great bands playing on the night.

“Gunnersbury Park is a really amazing venue to see bands perform. We first played with The Libertines 22 years ago back in 2002 when we took the fledgling band on tour with us. Wow… time flies when you’re having fun. See you there!”

The Libertines played an intimate warm-up show at London’s Bush Hall last week to prepare for the show, playing a range of classics and newer tracks.

They also played at Glastonbury this summer, and spoke to NME backstage about their “tantalisingly gorgeous” new album on the way.

Carl Barat addressed previous claims from Doherty that they want to incorporate a Stevie Wonder vibe to their upcoming music. “We’ve had some thoughts. A lot has changed across the pond and our visas are in jeopardy,” he said, adding that one of their ideas for new music “involved going to America”.

Doherty continued: “We’ve got a really interesting, tantalisingly gorgeous idea that we’re keeping under wraps for now…”
