'Deli Boys' Gets Season 2 Renewal by Hulu
The infamous “Deli Boys” are back open for business. For those who probably missed the news, Hulu has officially renewed the crime comedy series Deli Boys for Season 2. Created by Abdullah Saeed and developed by Jenni Konner, known for the popular HBO series Girls, Single Drunk Female, and Nora Silver, Deli Boys follows two Pakistani American brothers, Raj (Saagar Shaikh) and Mir (Asif Ali), as they try to operate their late father — Baba’s (Iqbal Theba) — underground drug smuggling business through the family-owned deli store in Philadelphia. With the help of Baba’s partner-in-crime, Auntie “Lucky” (Poorna Jagannathan), the brothers run the business and try to evade the FBI's sleuthing suspicions. Brian George (Seinfeld) and Amita Rao (Adults) also star.
