Disney's 'Lilo & Stitch' Remake Breaks Hollywood's Major 2025 Box Office Record
The 2025 live-action remake ofLilo & Stitchhas broken yet another major record. The Disney live-action/animated hybrid based on the 2002 movie of the same name has become the first Hollywood production to pass the $1 billion barrier at the box office. The first spot remains in the hands of the animated film from China, Ne Zha 2, which has grossed $1.8 billion so far. The Asian production holds several records: it is the highest-grossing animated film of all time, the highest-grossing film in a language that's not English, and the fifth highest-grossing film of all time.
