'Frozen 3' & 'Frozen 4' Could Tell One Story According to New Disney Sequel Details
Fans of Anna (Kristen Bell), Elsa (Idina Menzel), and Olaf (Josh Gad) learned from Jennifer Lee in 2024 that Frozen III would answer many of the nagging, unanswered questions brought up following the events of Frozen II (2019). Lee, who co-directed the first two films along with Chris Buck, also revealed that it would take two films to tell the upcoming story. However, the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation, Jared Bush, is playing a bit coy and trying to minimize spoilers when asked about the possible two-part cinematic event, and if the film was indeed designed that way. Bush said while attending the 2025 Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France (per Collider):
