The SM Entertainment rookie group unveiled the video yesterday, marking their first return since dropping their debut single ‘The Chase’ in February and the b-side ‘Butterflies’ in March.

‘STYLE’ features a bubblegum-pop sound that marks a stark departure from the group’s mysterious and dreamy debut ‘The Chase’. The song was co-produced by Grammy-nominated songwriter Mike Daley, producer Mitchell Owens, Adrian McKinnon and Sara Forsberg.

Speaking to tmrw, the group said “the central message in our music focuses on powerful energy and the beginning of dreams. We aim to inspire and encourage listeners to pursue their own aspirations with strength and determination, no matter where they are on their journey.”

Member Jiwoo added: “As Hearts2Hearts, we hope to grow into a group that naturally brings strength and joy to people through our music and presence. We want to be a source of positive energy that can brighten someone’s day, even in small ways.”

Hearts2Hearts are comprised of Jiwoo, Carmen, Yuha, Stella, Juun, A-na, Ian and Ye-on. Their debut marked SM Entertainment’s first girl group in five years, since aespa in 2020. The eight-piece are also notably SM Entertainment’s first new act since the departure of founder Lee Soo-man in 2023.

The girl group will make their live UK debut at the SMTOWN Live 2025 concert in London next week, which will take place at the O2 Arena on June 28. They join a star-studded slate of labelmates as performers, including the likes of Red Velvet, aespa, RIIZE, NCT 127, NCT Dream and more.
