How to sign up and access the ‘Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls’ closed beta

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls was surprise-announced at the latest State of Play, and it quickly became one of the most exciting fighting games on the horizon. But, now just a few months later, Arc System Works has already announced a beta for the game, which will take place between September 5, 2025 – September 7, 2025.

Here is a breakdown of how you can get access and play Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls yourself.

To sign up for the Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls beta, you need to visit PlayStation’s official page for the game and sign up. Codes will then be sent out to a select few players before the beta dates.

If you have already signed up for the PlayStation beta program, then you may get an error on this page. But, by signing up for that program, you are already registered and signed up for the Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls beta.

The beta is the same build as the demo being shown off at EVO 2025. This means you can play as Iron Man, Captain America, Storm, Doctor Doom, Star Lord, and Ms. Marvel. Ghost Rider and Spider-Man are the only other announced characters so far.

A beta this early suggests that the game is coming along well and follows what happened with Dragon Ball FighterZ. This suggests that the game could release in Early 2026. But, a Spring or early Summer release before EVO seems more likely, as we still need to see a lot of characters for Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls.
