ILM Releases Controversial AI 'Star Wars' Movie for Free
AI might be a prominent theme and technology within sci-fi movies, but most actors, directors, and moviegoers want to keep the controversial technology out of the filmmaking process. Unfortunately, it seems as though studios are slowly trying to embrace generative AI, and Star Wars could be the next big franchise to implement it in the process. Industrial Light & Magic, the iconic VFX studio responsible for the Star Wars franchise, as well as almost every major franchise, has just unveiled its AI concept Star Wars film, and fans really hope it doesn't actually show up in a galaxy far, far away.
