Is there voice chat in ‘Elden Ring Nightreign’?

Elden Ring Nightreign is behind the times in a lot of ways when it comes to its multiplayer. One of the major criticisms right now revolves around player communication and voice chat, alongside the options you have to highlight and ping objectives in a match.
Here is what we know about the game’s voice chat setup.
Unfortunately, Elden Ring Nightreign doesn’t have any in-game voice chat, proximity chat, or verbal communication options. If you want to talk with your party members, you will need to create a voice chat party on PS5, PS4, or Xbox. On PC, this is harder as you will have to use a third-party app to communicate.
The game also has limited communication options through markers and pings. While you can ping a location or weapon/item, and players can pick the same location to agree with you, there is no way to communicate more detailed directions or instructions.
Hopefully, we will see a greater range of communication options and voice chat implemented in the game in the future.
Elden Ring Nightreign has already sold more than two million copies, and it is bound to get a lot of DLC and free updates. To alleviate these issues, voice chat would be the most important addition. But, it would be nice to have a wider range of communication options, like being able to suggest directions, objectives to focus on, and ping enemies directly.
We will keep this article updated with the latest information and updates as FromSoftware announces it. So, keep an eye on this article.
