Jason Momoa's Apple TV+ Action Epic 'Chief of War' Becomes Streaming Hit
Just as Jason Momoa heads back out to Arrakis to filmDune: Part Three, his latest action epic is attracting plenty of noise — enough to awaken any sandworm. The actor has come out fighting as the ultimate warrior in the new limited series Chief of War, which he co-created with Thomas Pa'a Sibbett, bringing a slice of Hawaiian history to the small screen. The first two episodes of the thrilling drama premiered on Apple TV+ on Aug. 1, 2025, and became an instant hit on the streaming charts, where it currently resides in the number one spot.
