Actor Kevin Durand reveals why he didn't reprise his role as The Blob in Deadpool & Wolverine. Durand is an accomplished character actor, having appeared in a wide variety of projects, including The Strain and Swamp Thing, with 2024 being a notable year for the actor as he appeared in both the horror film Abigail and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes as the main villain, Proximus Casear. One 2024 film Durand did not appear in, though, was Deadpool & Wolverine, even though the actor appeared alongside both Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in X-Men Origins: Wolverine back in 2009.
